About the role
Everforth ECS is seeking an Elastic Content Developer to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ OR remotely.
ECS is looking for an Elastic Content Developer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that support business, product, and technical use cases across AESS environments. You'll work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable, high-quality data in a fast-moving, distributed environment. In this role, you will be the bridge between raw data ingestion and executive-level insights. You won't just be "building dashboards"; you will be optimizing the entire lifecycle of a log - from the moment it leaves the source to the second it appears in a Kibana visualization.
Core Responsibilities
Build, enhance, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines
Develop and optimize analytics datasets and dashboards
Support and maintain existing data systems as needed to ensure continuity and reliability
Design scalable data models that enable trusted analytics and reporting
Partner with product managers, analysts, and solution teams to translate ambiguous requirements into effective data solutions
Monitor data quality and system health to ensure accurate, timely insights
Visualization & Content Development
Design and build advanced Kibana dashboards that provide real-time visibility into security posture, system health, and operational metrics
Develop complex TSVB and Lens visualizations to track trends, anomalies and KPIS across massive datasets
Configure Canvas workpads for executive-level, pixel-perfect reporting and presentations
Implement Watcher and Kibana Alerts to proactively notify stakeholders of critical system events or threshold breaches
Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000
General Description of Benefits
Requirements:
Expert-level proficiency with the Elastic Stack (ELK): Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Fleet
Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Ruby
Deep understanding of JSON and RESTful APIs for data manipulation
Experience with Linux environments and containerization as it relates to the Elastic ecosystem
Knowledge of Query DSL and Lucene syntax for advanced data retrieval
Clearance Eligible: Active DoD Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Certifications (DoD 8140/8570):
A current IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) at a minimum. (90 days to acquire)

Compensation
This Marketing role pays $150k-$180k/yr. Within typical range for marketing roles in United States.
