The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel specialising in Intellectual Property and Privacy to join Lipton Teas & Infusions at our global headquarters in Amsterdam. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical areas including IP protection and data privacy in a global organisation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to protect the company’s brands, innovation and data practices, while shaping the overall approach to intellectual property and privacy compliance.
What you will do
Advise senior leaders and cross-functional teams on intellectual property and privacy matters
Draft, review and negotiate licensing and R&D or innovation agreements
Manage and oversee the global intellectual property portfolio
Act as Global Privacy Officer, providing guidance on data protection and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
Identify, assess and manage legal risks, including those related to IP and data protection

What you bring
Qualified lawyer under Dutch law
5 to 8 years of experience in intellectual property and privacy law
Strong grounding in contract law within a complex and regulated environment
Experience advising international organisations
Fluency in English and Dutch
Experience across both in-house and private practice environments is advantageous
Experience within FMCG or a global consumer business is a plus
