Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, industry standards (API, DNV, ABS), and regulatory frameworks applicable to oil & gas operations

Proven experience working in or managing projects within shipyard environments; strong understanding of shipyard operations, workflows, resource planning, scheduling constraints, and maritime construction processes

Familiarity with rig maintenance and preservation procedures during stacked and non-operational periods, including knowledge of OEM requirements, preservation standards, commissioning readiness criteria, and return-to-service protocols
