As a Supervisor, Chemical Production Operations (2nd Shift), you will be trusted to lead and develop a high-performing team while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production operations at our manufacturing facility in Johns Creek, Georgia.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Lead 2nd shift chemical manufacturing operations within a regulated (FDA/ISO) environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production.

Supervise and develop team members, driving performance, accountability, and adherence to GMP/GxP and FDA standards.

Oversee chemical processing, compounding, and equipment operations to maintain product quality and consistency.

Manage daily production workflow, documentation, and quality controls to meet regulatory and operational requirements.

Champion safety, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize performance and maintain compliance.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)

The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

2 Years of Relevant Experience

Work Hours: 2nd Shift | 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Relocation/Sponsorship: No

Preferred:

Industry experience in a regulated medical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (GMP/GxP)

Proven leadership experience in chemical production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or regulated life sciences operations

Strong knowledge of FDA compliance, cleanroom operations, SOP adherence, and quality systems

Experience leading production teams, driving performance, and improving operational efficiency

Ability to manage competing priorities, production schedules, and cross-functional stakeholders

Excellent communication and team leadership skills, with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement
