IT Recruiter - Freelancer

Freelance recruiter needs to independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle, sourcing, screening, and placing candidates for multiple clients

Key Responsibilities

Partner with clients to understand hiring needs, job specifications, and organizational culture

Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and databases

Screen and evaluate candidates via interviews, assessments, and background checks to ensure suitability

Manage the recruitment lifecycle, including candidate outreach, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support

Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in applicant tracking systems or databases

Provide clients with updates on recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, and market insights

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates to encourage repeat business

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in recruiting, human resources, or a related field

Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously

Familiarity with recruitment tools, online platforms, and applicant tracking systems

Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple clients and deadlines

Optional: HR academic background or professional certifications in recruitment can be advantageous
