With six manufacturing facilities, 50 major distribution centers and 70,000+ customers from coast to coast, we're constantly searching for committed, hardworking individuals to help build our team.PepsiCo Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON for a Licensed ElectricianCompensation: $50.37 per hour (Plus shift premiums)Shift: Monday – Friday (11pm – 7am)ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of site equipment Completion of preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and electrical and/or mechanical repairs for all equipment within area of responsibility Execute daily assigned work Manage through emergency breakdowns Support in root cause and prevention of future downtime events Work collaboratively with operators and other classifications across the site to reduce downtime, safety and quality risks Effective communication for shift crossovers, work order feedback, production meetings, and activity coordination between other shifts Above average trouble shooting skills and ability to resolve issues in a diverse, fast paced environment QualificationsMust currently possess a valid Electrical license in the province of Ontario (309A or 442) with certificate of apprenticeship as an asset Secondary trade license would be an asset with associated pay incentive Knowledge of PLC and control systems strongly preferred Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and recording hours Strong work ethic, with a positive attitude and motivation to succeed in a team environment Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability Exceptional communication skills and basic computer literacy Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as required What You Can Expect From UsCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits tailored to support your well-being A dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole self to work A supportive and collaborative team invested in your growth and development An opportunity to be meaningful and impactful within your work and projects An opportunity to give back to the community with our Always on Volunteer 360 Program An organization that aims to use their scale, reach and expertise to build a more sustainable world PepsiCo may use Artificial Intelligence as part of its hiring process.
