Senior / Lead Software Engineer

Analyze user requirements and design or enhance software solutions accordingly

Develop and maintain systems using languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript

Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC)

Ensure system reliability by applying DevOps and SRE principles

Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution to minimize impact

Create and maintain technical documentation (design, processes, user guides)

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends

What you'll need to succeed

Mandatory

Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting

Programming experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript)

Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automation tools, and IaC (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)

Ability to collaborate across regions and teams

Strong communication skills, including technical presentations

Basic level English or above

Willingness to learn new tools and monitoring frameworks

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Japanese proficiency (JLPT N3 or higher)

5+ years of experience in Python or Java development

Experience with RESTful APIs integration

Cloud development experience (AWS / hybrid environments)

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker

Knowledge of ITIL-based incident/change management
