About the role
We are looking for a talented and passionate Android App Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and backend developers to create user-friendly and scalable mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and payment gateways.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and bugs.
Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Conduct testing and ensure applications meet quality standards.
Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
Work with backend developers to integrate server-side functionality.
Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best development practices.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, Java, and Kotlin.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and third-party integrations.
Understanding of Material Design principles and Android UI guidelines.
Experience with Git version control.
Knowledge of SQLite, Room Database, and local data storage.
Understanding of mobile app security and performance optimization.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Jetpack Compose.
Knowledge of MVVM Architecture and Android Jetpack Components.
Experience integrating payment gateways and social media APIs.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in Android Application Development.
Freshers with strong Android development projects may also apply.
