Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically-minded Senior Analyst Forecasting to join our team in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, France. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing forecasting models that drive strategic business decisions across the organization. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze historical data, identify trends, and deliver accurate predictions that support planning and resource allocation. Develop, validate, and maintain sophisticated forecasting models using statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for model improvement
Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, operations, revenue management and commercial teams to understand business requirements and translate them into forecasting solutions
Prepare comprehensive forecasting reports and presentations that communicate insights and recommendations to senior management
Monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions to enhance model performance and reliability
Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to support strategic planning and decision-making
Document forecasting methodologies, assumptions, and model specifications for organizational knowledge and compliance
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging forecasting techniques to maintain competitive advantage
Qualifications
Background:
3-5 years of professional experience in forecasting, demand planning, financial analysis, or related analytical field
Engineer's degree (Master's level / Bac+5, engineering school or equivalent Master's degree)
Mandatory skills:
Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis, time series modeling, and predictive analytics
Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
Strong programming experience in SQL, Python, or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis
Hands-on experience with Tableau
Fluent in French/ English
Preferred skills:
Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work with limited supervision
Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
Detail-oriented mindset with strong attention to accuracy and data integrity
Experience working in international or multicultural business environments
