Job Description

Service Delivery Managers are responsible for establishing, maintaining, and managing strong relationships with Clearwater’s clients, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring ongoing client engagement, from the daily user to decision maker level.

You are viewed by our clients as a trusted advisor, solving complex front to back investment management and asset owner software solutions. This includes supporting investment reporting, regulatory, and portfolio accounting challenges, acting as a strong internal advocate on their behalf. By maintaining knowledge of product enhancements and the changing investment accounting industry, they play a crucial role providing valuable insights to empower our clients to optimize their investment operations, ensuring client satisfaction and driving business growth.

The Clearwater Client Servicing Team is responsible for the on-going servicing of existing clients and seeks to improve clients’ day-to-day workflow by increasing their knowledge of the Clearwater platform and providing them with effective solutions to their risk and performance, accounting, and investment reporting requirements. We work as an extension of our clients’ teams, and we collaborate with them to ensure our product meets their current and future needs.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end client relationship, serving as the primary point of contact for various client stakeholders

Collaborate directly with clients to build and own valuable relationships and ensure their success

Act as a subject matter expert on local regulatory and accounting topics – including HGB-compliant accounting and Solvency II reporting - advising clients on how Clearwater’s platform supports their specific regulatory requirements.

Manage client inquiries & deliver accurate, daily trading balances, risk metrics, compliance reporting, and performance values

Find opportunities to establish extra value to clients outside of day-to-day servicing

Prioritize and coordinate projects across large and strategic clients

Handle complex investment accounting, performance, risk, and compliance requests

Provide client training on best practices around daily operational & trading support using Clearwater

Advise on how to leverage Clearwater's flexible reporting in monthly/quarterly client statements

Proactively seek ways to add value to your team & Clearwater

Provides guidance and mentorship to Analysts in the team.

Required Skills:

Working knowledge of financial services and investment accounting, preferably experience in HGB and German regulatory reporting requirements

Working knowledge of structured products, derivatives, fixed-income securities, and multi-asset portfolio accounting

Proven experience working with external clients

Self-starter who proactively seeks out solutions and expertise.

Ability to execute with precision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities across multiple client engagements

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Fluency in German and English

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or similar field, or relevant experience in Investment Management, Insurance, FinTech, Investment Accounting, Financial Services, or Investment Operations.

7+ years of relevant experience.
