You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain automation equipment, ensuring reliable performance and smooth integration into existing systems. Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics on automation equipment, including robotics, conveyors, and control systems.

Assist with integration of new automation assets into existing infrastructure.

Interpret facility drawings and verify material flow paths for efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve automation issues and improve reliability.

Execute preventive maintenance tasks, spare parts planning, and AutoCAD job plans.

Support validation activities (commissioning, qualification, and Computer System Validation).

Maintain compliance with GMP and safety standards throughout all activities.

Minimum Requirements

Strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems (motors, drives, sensors, actuators).

Hands-on experience with automation equipment such as robotics, conveyors, and vision systems.

Familiarity with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and basic troubleshooting of control circuits.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and facility drawings.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ASRS and AGV systems in automated warehousing environments.

Exposure to robotics integration and vision systems (Keyence, Cognex).

Knowledge of system integration protocols (OPC, IoT standards like REST/MQTT).

Commissioning and qualification experience in regulated environments.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (PowerBI) for performance monitoring.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).

Additional Information:

Standard 8-hour workdays with occasional after-hours support.
