About the role
Overview Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to provide in-home therapy services for an eight year old child and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, including autism. This is a fully in-person role located in Mullica Gloucester NJ 08062. In this role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support children’s learning and behavior goals
Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence and self-care skills
Use applied behavior analysis techniques to teach new skills and reduce problematic behaviors in children with autism and other developmental disabilities
Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized care plans that align with each child's unique needs
Maintain confidentiality of all medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and security of client information
Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages participation, motivation, and growth for every child served
Qualifications
Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligible for certification; ongoing training preferred
Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities, is highly desirable
Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, applied behavior analysis, and behavior management strategies
Ability to collect detailed data accurately during sessions for progress tracking
Strong understanding of special education practices and teaching methodologies suitable for children with diverse needs
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to working with children and families
Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management is a plus
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to client success
