A newly established private primary healthcare clinic in the Mayfair area is seeking an experienced and highly organised Receptionist/Secretary to join its Front of House team. This modern, high-profile clinic supports a range of medical specialties including General Practice, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, and Psychology. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless patient journeys and supporting a team of leading clinicians.

Day-to-day of the role:

Serve as the first and last point of contact for our patients, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth check-out process.

Register new patients and maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

Manage clinical diaries, coordinate appointments, and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.

Handle the practice inbox, responding to patient enquiries promptly and professionally.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to clinicians, including drafting and sending clinical correspondence, referral letters, and reports.

Process payments and raise invoices accurately.

Liaise effectively with clinicians, external partners, and patients to support clinical operations.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes within the clinic.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in a Front of House or medical secretarial role within a private healthcare or patient-facing environment.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and warm manner.

High attention to detail and adept at managing multiple priorities.

Proficiency in using digital systems; experience with Semble or similar practice management software is highly advantageous.

Familiarity with mental health services is preferred, though full training will be provided.
