Join a high-velocity, early-stage team as the first engineering hire to build the future of personal intelligence from the ground up. You will design retrieval-augmented memory systems and lead macOS development to help users compound their knowledge into sharper instincts, directly shaping the technical architecture and product direction alongside the founders.

What You Will Do

Design and architect core memory infrastructure, focusing on retrieval, reasoning, and AI agent systems that make personal context useful.

Lead the development of the macOS desktop application, owning the user experience from initial concept to cross-platform expansion.

Collaborate directly with the CTO to set the engineering culture, defining how the team ships code, reviews work, and balances quality with speed.

The ideal candidate

Demonstrated expertise in backend or full-stack engineering with a high-agency mindset and a strong bias toward shipping over over-processing.

Experience building products from zero, ideally within a startup environment or through significant independent projects in the AI or developer tool space.

Deep intuition for product design and a customer-obsessed approach to gathering user feedback and iterating on complex, ambiguous technical problems.
