Our client is a roadway system, and as a part of their digital transformation, they are implementing a solution based on SAP BRIM & Microsoft Dynamics CE.

Data-Core Systems Inc. is seeking a SAP Convergent Charging (CC) Developer to be a part of our Consulting team. You will participate and effectively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work with other SME consultants from our existing team.

SAP Convergent Charging Development.

Design, develop, configure, and support SAP Convergent Charging (CC) solutions and components.

Charging plans.

Pricing models.

Rating logic.

Charging contracts.

Support complex usage-based and subscription billing scenarios.

Rating & Pricing Configuration.

Real-time rating.

Batch rating.

Usage charging models.

Tiered pricing structures.

Event charging logic.

Develop scalable pricing and charging frameworks aligned with business requirements.

Mediation & Integration Support.

SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI).

SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM).

SAP FI-CA.

SAP S/4HANA.

CRM and customer management systems.

External usage/event source systems.

Develop APIs, interfaces, and integration services supporting event processing and billing workflows.

Collaborate with middleware and integration teams on enterprise integration solutions.

Technical Development & Customization.

Develop custom enhancements, scripts, and technical solutions supporting charging and billing operations.

Support Java-based development and scripting related to SAP CC environments as required.

Assist with automation of charging, billing, and reconciliation processes.

Ensure development adheres to enterprise coding and security standards.

Performance Optimization.

Analyze and optimize high-volume transaction processing and rating performance.

Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and system processing issues.

Support scalability planning and charging engine optimization initiatives.

Monitor processing throughput and operational performance metrics.

Testing & Quality Assurance.

Unit testing.

Integration testing.

Performance testing.

User acceptance testing (UAT).

Validate charging calculations, event processing, and billing accuracy.

Support defect analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution activities.

Production Support & Operations.

Support production deployments, maintenance windows, and go-live activities.

Monitor SAP CC environments and resolve operational incidents.

Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide ongoing support for billing cycles and charging operations.

Documentation & Governance.

Required Skills & Experience:

7+ years of SAP technical development experience.

3+ years of direct SAP Convergent Charging (CC) development experience.

Proven experience supporting enterprise billing and charging platforms.

Strong understanding of subscription-based and usage-based billing models.

Hands-on experience developing and supporting:

SAP Convergent Charging.

Rating and charging configurations.

Event processing and mediation.

Usage-based billing solutions.

Charging engine architecture.

Pricing and discounting models.

High-volume transaction processing.

SAP BRIM integrations.

Billing and invoicing concepts.

Experience with: Java development, APIs and middleware integrations, SAP FICA and CI integrations, SQL and database concepts, Performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Strong software development and integration capabilities.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical charging solutions.

Preferred Experience:

SAP BRIM ecosystem (SOM, CI, FI-CA).

SAP S/4HANA.

SAP BTP.

SAP Integration Suite.

Cloud-native SAP deployments.

DevOps and CI/CD methodologies.

Experience in utilities, telecommunications, transportation, finance, or subscription-based industries.

Experience supporting high-volume enterprise billing environments.

Experience supporting Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Prior consulting or contractor experience in enterprise SAP environments.

Certifications & Education Qualifications:

SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management.

SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.

SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA.

SAP S/4HANA technical certifications are preferred.

Java development certifications are preferred.

Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Related technical discipline.

Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
