About the role

Step into a high-energy role as a Membership Representative at Advocate Condell Centre Club, managed by HealthFitness, in Gurnee, IL! In this full-time position, you’ll play a key role in growing our community, driving new memberships, building meaningful connections, and creating an experience members want to be part of. Schedule: 40 hours per week, Sunday-Thursday, varied shifts between 8am-8pm

Key point of contact for the community and members at the client's Health and Wellness Center. Responsible for providing assistance and service to clients by answering requests, process, and provide information on membership accounts and services offered.

Key Accountabilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and existing members via face-to-face service, phone, text, and email communication. Building lasting relationships with prospective and current members.

Meeting sales goals and generating leads through prospect, networking, and member referrals.

Promoting and attending facility social events.

Serving as facility ambassador to local businesses, corporations and community members.

May provide leadership presence on the floor to assist with issues that may arise and provide coverage when manager isn’t available.

Conduct tours of the facility and assist members with account changes and requests.

Other duties as needed/assigned

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma/GED.

Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 90 days of hire.

1-2 years previous sales experience.

Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Highly motivated and communicates effectively.

Passionate about helping others improve the quality of their lives.

Able and willing to listen to feedback and apply it moving forward.

Preferred:

Associates degree or relevant work experience.

The compensation range for this role is $14.00 - $15.00 per hour plus sales commission. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
