Position Summary

Behavioral Health Technicians are the backbone of our program. You’ll be hands-on with clients throughout the day, helping maintain structure, safety, and consistency. This is a role for someone who can stay grounded, communicate well, and show up with the right energy. You don’t need to be perfect—just dependable, compassionate, and willing to hold boundaries that help our clients succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Client Monitoring & Safety

Provide regular safety checks and maintain a secure environment

Observe client behavior, offer support, and notice changes before they escalate

Hold firm but respectful boundaries that keep the community stable

Daily Structure & Engagement

Help run the daily schedule so clients feel supported and not lost in the process

Assist during groups, activities, appointments, and transitions

Provide transportation in company vehicles when needed

Documentation & Communication

Complete shift notes, safety logs, and incident reports accurately

Communicate clearly during shift changes to keep the team aligned

Report concerns promptly and professionally

Client Support & Connection

Welcome new clients and help them get grounded on their first day

Normalize early recovery struggles with empathy and accountability

Model calm behavior and positive communication throughout the shift

Crisis Response

Step in quickly and safely when clients need support

Use trained de-escalation techniques to stabilize situations

Work closely with clinical and nursing teams

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Experience in behavioral health, detox, sober living, or residential treatment preferred

Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure

Clear boundaries, professionalism, and a team-first mindset

Valid driver’s license preferred

CPR/First Aid (or willingness to complete upon hire)

Must be able to stay awake for the entire shift

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
