ABOUT THE ROLE (Your new role)

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing development team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions across desktop, web, cloud, and mobile platforms.

Collaborating closely with stakeholders and fellow developers, you will help deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly applications while contributing to technical decisions, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement within our development processes.

SKILLS (What you will need to succeed)

Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework/.NET.

Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.

Strong SQL Server database development skills.

Experience with source control systems such as Git.

Experience working within Agile development environments.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

Mobile application development.

React or modern JavaScript frameworks.

Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.

Entity Framework.

AI-assisted development tools and technologies.

E-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce.

EDI and third-party system integrations.

RESPONSIBILITIES (What you will be doing)

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.

Build and enhance desktop, web, cloud, and mobile solutions.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations.

Design and optimise SQL Server databases and queries.

Participate in architecture, design, and code review discussions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues across multiple environments.

Support and mentor junior developers where required.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

ABOUT YOU (You the employee)

4+ years of commercial software development experience.

A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Be self-motivated and reliable with strong communication skills.

A good problem solver with a product/customer mindset.

Passionate about quality and user experience.

WHAT WE OFFER (What you get in return)

Salary range $75,000–$100,000 + super, depending on experience + bi-annual profit-sharing bonus scheme.
