This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level.
Do you enjoy being an integral part of solving mission-critical, real-world problems? Do you like working with geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) data? If so, you’ll love working with us! Our solutions require innovative approaches that integrate bespoke capabilities and tools to solve our customers most complex challenges. We’re seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to support work across the full analytical workflow. Technical tasks include ELT, managing, analyzing, and enrichment of large geospatial data sets to extract meaningful knowledge with cloud-based processing technologies and emerging AI/ML techniques.
We want a self-motivated engineer who is comfortable digging into data, trying innovative approaches, and isn't afraid to fail fast and move on to other techniques/ideas.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement efficient, flexible solutions that can scale for mission critical applications.
Active in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements development, software design, implementation and build, documentation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
Apply software standards and processes to produce high quality, extensible, and maintainable software solutions.
Work with cloud tech stacks to perform data extraction, manipulation, transformation; visualization of geospatial-temporal data sets
Develop analytics/derivative data products to help users extract meaningful knowledge
Proactive approach to trouble shooting and problem-solving issues
Collaborate with diverse teams of engineers, clients, and users
Minimum Requirements:
US citizenship and a current TS/SCI clearance (with willingness to get a CI Polygraph).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technology fields
Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in software development, including design, development, and implementation
Proficiency in one multiparadigm programming language (Python, Java, Go, Rust, etc.)
Experience with data extraction, manipulation, visualization, and analysis of large datasets
Experience designing and supporting cloud-based architectures, including AWS and C2S environments
Experience developing and maintaining applications in cloud computing environments
Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, in cloud or hybrid environments
Proficiency in Linux-based environments
Demonstrated ability to lead small engineering teams and work both independently and collaboratively
Strong problem-solving mindset and adaptability, with the ability to leverage emerging technologies to solve mission challenges
Familiarity with modern software development tools, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Skills:
Design, develop, and deploy AI-native software products that transform large-scale geospatial data into actionable intelligence and mission-critical insights.
Experience working with NoSQL data stores such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or similar technologies
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience with a designing and implementing a wide variety of geospatial trajectory processing, analysis (e.g., forecasting), and visualization approaches
Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI/ML or CV models across diverse data types

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
The base pay for this position within California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and for all other states is:
$185,000.00 - $228,000.00
