Job Overview (Midday client 1:30 pm-5:30 pm M-F) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, providing evidence-based behavioral therapy to promote positive growth and skill development. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help empower clients to reach their full potential through personalized interventions rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Duties
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients’ developmental goals
Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions accurately and consistently in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, fostering independence and life skills
Use evidence-based techniques from applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment approaches and progress monitoring
Maintain detailed medical records, care plans, and behavior management documentation in accordance with organizational policies
Support a safe, nurturing environment that encourages learning, patience, and respect for each individual’s unique needs
Experience
Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred
Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies is essential
Experience assisting with ADLs or providing patient care in educational or healthcare settings is advantageous
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is a plus
Strong data collection skills to track client progress accurately over time
Previous exposure to special education environments or behavioral health settings will help you succeed in this role
