About the role
Job Summary Are you a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or CRNP in Pennsylvania looking to establish,, or operate your own autonomous practice? Psychiatric Community Care, LLC is seeking dedicated Pennsylvania-licensed Psych NPs for a long-term Independent Contractor (1099) partnership. Under this arrangement we provide expert clinical support, and the mandatory state-compliant Prescriptive Authority Collaborative Agreement required to fully unlock your clinical potential under Pennsylvania law. We handle the administrative onboarding smoothly through the Pennsylvania Licensing System (PALS) so you can focus entirely on your NP owned practice or telehealth platform. Unlike large commercial agencies, our partnership offers consistent, direct collaboration with an actively practicing psychiatrist. This allows for a highly individualized, flexible approach that prioritizes your specific needs over rigid, formalized protocols.
Contractor Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality professional psychiatric care aligned with best practices and patient needs.
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including psychopharmacology treatments, following state regulations and collaborative agreements.
Maintain active, unrestricted CRNP licensure and DEA registration in the state of Pennsylvania.
Provide monthly practice status updates/ discuss clinical cases as needed.
Secure and maintain independent professional liability insurance (malpractice insurance).
Qualifications & Requirements
Active, unencumbered Pennsylvania CRNP License.
Board Certification as a PMHNP (Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner).
Valid DEA registration for prescriptive authority in PA.
