About the team
Stripe's Platform Sales team works with B2B software platforms to help them facilitate payments for their customers using Stripe Connect. Our users are software businesses who serve other businesses — platforms like Shopify, Treatwell, Sage, and DesignMyNight already rely on Stripe to power their payments infrastructure.
As a key member of the Platforms team, you will manage and deepen relationships with a named account list while identifying new growth opportunities and finding ways Stripe can exceed expectations.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive (Grower), you will build partnerships between Stripe and the most innovative and fastest-growing software platforms in the world, helping them understand how Stripe's financial infrastructure can make payments a true competitive advantage for their businesses.
Responsibilities
Directly manage and develop a named account list, building account plans to win and business with upper middle market and enterprise SaaS platform companies
Build and maintain key relationships with C-level executives, orchestrating the right executive touchpoints throughout the sales cycle
Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for upper middle market and enterprise accounts
Work with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Finance to lead complex product workshops and financial analyses
Craft and lead complex, bespoke commercial and contractual negotiations
Contribute to shaping our platform partnership strategy and building repeatable processes and scaled engagement models
Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help shape product strategy
Who you are
You are an adept salesperson and relationship manager, comfortable engaging in both business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of an organisation — including the CTO, COO, and CFO. You have experience with upper middle market and enterprise companies, a deep understanding of the buyer journey, and the ability to lead complex, multi-party sales in a highly consultative manner.
You're used to building value in competitive situations and enjoy working on products that require deep product understanding combined with technical knowledge. You're naturally analytical and enjoy exploring business models and helping users quantify their investment decisions. You're energised by prospecting and capable of independently leading a full sales cycle from start to finish — and you like to build, actively contributing to sales process development, value proposition articulation, and the creation of key tools and assets.

Minimum requirements
5+ years of sales experience selling a technical product or service, preferably at an API-first company, with a consistent track record of top performance
Proven track record of leading complex, multi-party sales from inception to close in a highly consultative manner, including developing strategies and building compelling value propositions
Strong listening skills and the ability to quickly become a trusted resource for decision-makers across technology and finance organisations within software companies
Ability to understand complex technical problems and position Stripe's solutions to address them effectively
Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the software landscape
Fluent in English and French
