Vocal Music Teacher – Roles & Responsibilities
Plan and conduct vocal music classes for students of different grades.
Teach basic and advanced singing techniques, voice modulation, rhythm, and pitch.
Prepare lesson plans according to the school curriculum and academic calendar.
Train students in songs for assemblies, annual day programs, competitions, and cultural events.
Encourage student participation in music activities and build confidence in stage performance.
Identify students with musical talent and provide additional guidance when required.
Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment during music sessions.
Teach proper use and care of musical instruments and audio equipment, if applicable.
Coordinate with class teachers and school management for events and performances.
Conduct regular practice sessions and rehearsals for school functions.
Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback on performance and participation.
Maintain attendance, performance records, and activity reports as required by the school.
Ensure students follow safety and school behaviour guidelines during classes and events.
Promote appreciation of music, creativity, teamwork, and cultural values among students.
Participate in staff meetings, school events, and other assigned duties as instructed by the management.
