Sr. Admissions Counsellor

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Admissions Counsellor to guide prospective students through the admissions process and help them make informed educational decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong counselling skills, deep knowledge of higher education admissions, and the ability to manage complex student cases while consistently achieving enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Admissions

Counsel prospective students and families regarding academic programs, admission requirements, career pathways, and university options.

Conduct detailed profile evaluations and recommend suitable institutions and programs.

Guide applicants through the complete admissions lifecycle, from inquiry to enrollment.

Assist students with application preparation, documentation, statement reviews, and submission processes.

Provide accurate information regarding admission policies, deadlines, scholarships, and program requirements.

Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, parents, educational institutions, and referral partners.

Conduct follow-up calls, meetings, webinars, and information sessions.

Address student concerns and resolve admission-related issues promptly and professionally.

Team Leadership

Mentor and support junior admissions counsellors.

Assist in training new team members on counselling methodologies, CRM usage, and admissions processes.

Share best practices and contribute to improving team performance.

Collaboration

Coordinate with university representatives, operations teams, visa advisors, and marketing teams.

Support recruitment events, education fairs, workshops, and promotional activities.

Stay updated on admission requirements, industry trends, and institutional changes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

4–8 years of experience in admissions counselling, student recruitment, education consulting, or a related field.

Strong understanding of international admissions processes.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of achieving admissions or sales targets.

Experience working with CRM platforms and admissions management systems.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of admissions processes for top universities and competitive programs.

Experience counselling students for undergraduate, postgraduate, or international education programs.

Ability to manage high-value applicants and complex admissions cases.

Data-driven approach to student conversion and pipeline management.
