Day care teacher

Key Responsibilities: • Supervise children carefully during daycare hours and ensure their safety at all times • Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities such as storytelling, art, craft, free play, music, movement, indoor games, and quiet-time activities • Manage children’s daily routines including lunch, snacks, rest time, washroom routines, hygiene, and transitions • Ensure children eat properly, rest comfortably, and remain meaningfully engaged throughout the day • Maintain a calm, loving, and well-managed daycare environment • Observe children’s behaviour, mood, health, energy levels, and comfort during the day • Handle children with patience, sensitivity, affection, and firmness when required • Support children in developing independence, sharing habits, good manners, self-care, and social skills • Coordinate with caregivers/nannies to ensure smooth execution of routines • Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the daycare area • Communicate important updates to the school team regarding any child’s food, sleep, health, behaviour, or emotional needs • Interact politely and professionally with parents whenever required • Ensure children are handed over safely during dispersal • Take responsibility for the overall emotional comfort, engagement, safety, and well-being of every child in daycare Requirements: • Prior experience as a daycare teacher, preschool teacher, or childcare educator is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
