HKBK College of Engineering was established in 1997 under the aegis of HKBK Group of Institutions by Sri C. M. Ibrahim with a vision to provide quality education through excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and industry engagement. FACULTY POSITIONS

1. Departments

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

Information Science and Engineering (ISE)

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML)

Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess:

Ph.D. in the relevant discipline (preferred as per AICTE/VTU norms)

Master's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology

Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology

Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology

First Class in all the preceding degrees

Consistently excellent academic record throughout

Experience Requirements

Assistant Professor

Minimum 2 years of teaching/industry experience preferred.

Fresher’s with excellent academic credentials may also apply.

Associate Professor

Minimum 5 years of experience.

At least 2 years of post-Ph.D. experience.

Professor

Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience.

At least 5 years of experience at the level of Associate Professor.

Teaching Assistant

BE Fresher’s with excellent academic credentials may apply.

Lab Instructor

Minimum 2 years of lab experience preferred.

Fresher’s with excellent academic credentials may also apply.

2. Mechanical Engineering Department

Departmental Lab Instructor (CAED / CAMD / ANSYS)

Qualification

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering OR

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Required Skills

Proficiency in Solid Edge Software.

Knowledge of Computer Aided Engineering Drawing (CAED).

Knowledge of Computer Aided Machine Drawing (CAMD).

Familiarity with ANSYS Software.

Ability to assist faculty members and students during laboratory sessions and practical classes.

IDEA Lab Instructor

Qualification

B.E. / M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Required Skills

Experience in handling and operating:

Laser Cutting Machines

3D Printers

Rapid Prototyping Equipment

Fabrication and Product Development Tools

Additional Requirements

Ability to guide students in innovation and prototype development.

Experience in product design, fabrication, and experimentation.

Support student projects, hackathons, and innovation activities.

3. Humanities Department

Position

Assistant Professor – English

Qualification

Master's Degree in English

Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline

First Class in all the preceding degrees

Consistently strong academic background

Experience

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred.

Fresher’s with excellent academic records may also apply.

Candidates should possess:

Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Positive academic attitude and commitment to student development.

Ability to teach undergraduate engineering students effectively.

Preference will be given to candidates who can:

Undertake sponsored Research & Development (R&D) projects.

Execute Consultancy projects.

Publish quality research papers in reputed journals.

File and promote patents and intellectual property activities.

Support Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) initiatives.

Mentor innovation and startup activities.

Develop industry collaborations and consultancy opportunities.

Conduct value-added courses, FDPs, workshops, and certification programs.

Contribute to accreditation and quality initiatives such as NBA and NAAC.

PAY SCALE

Salary and benefits will be as per AICTE/VTU norms and institutional standards. Higher compensation may be considered for deserving candidates with exceptional credentials and experience.
