Freelance Construction Manager | Data Centre | Germany
I’m supporting a major global contractor in the search for an experienced Construction Manager to lead a large‑scale hyperscale data centre project in Berlin. This is a high‑impact role within one of Europe’s fastest‑growing construction sectors.
Location: Berlin (multiple sites)
Duration: 14 months (with potential extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Language: English (German Desirable)
Engagement: Freelance / Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Daily site management across a multi‑phase data centre build
Coordination of subcontractors, trades, and site teams
Schedule performance, progress reporting, and risk mitigation
Quality assurance and compliance with German building regulations
Support for procurement, cost control, and change management
Essential:
EU work eligibility
Strong understanding of MEP systems and structural works
Experience managing large subcontractor packages
Desirable:
7+ years’ experience in construction management
Background in data centres, industrial, pharma, or mission‑critical builds
