Job Summary
LPL Financial Corp is seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust solutions within our ServiceNow platform, enhancing IT service management and business processes.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and configure ServiceNow applications and modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, and GRC.
Design and implement custom workflows, business rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and script includes.
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using various integration methods (e.g., REST, SOAP, MID Servers).
Perform platform upgrades, patching, and ensure system stability and performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical solutions.
Conduct testing, debugging, and quality assurance of developed solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, development guides, and user manuals.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and GlideScript.
Familiarity with various integration technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
