Jetpac, from Circles, is building a seamless way for travelers to stay connected globally. We offer eSIMs across 200+ destinations with a fast-growing consumer platform spanning web, mobile, and partner channels targeting the travel essentials segment.

We operate as a high-velocity product team. Small teams, fast decisions, and direct ownership. We ship continuously, iterate quickly, and measure what matters.

The Role

We’ve reached meaningful scale and are rebuilding key parts of the platform to support the next phase of growth. You’ll work closely with platform, backend, and product teams to ensure systems are reliably deployed, secure, and observable in production.

The way infrastructure is built and operated has fundamentally changed. Static scripts and manual operations don’t scale in AI-assisted engineering environments.

This role focuses on building and operating AI-accelerated infrastructure systems that are reliable by design.

You’ll work across cloud, backend, and runtime systems to ensure production readiness through:

reliable infrastructure and deployments

strong observability and debugging capabilities

secure-by-default system design

This is not a traditional DevOps role. You are accountable for how systems run in production, not just how they are deployed.

What You’ll Do

Build and operate infrastructure systems that are reliable, secure, and scalable across backend, web, and mobile platforms.

Own production infrastructure across cloud, networking, and runtime environments

Work with platform engineering to deploy and operate services reliably

Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines

Implement observability systems (logs, metrics, tracing) with meaningful alerting

Ensure system reliability and uptime, including incident response and postmortems

Apply infrastructure security best practices (IAM, secrets, network isolation, patching)

Improve system performance, cost efficiency, and operational simplicity

Use AI-assisted workflows to accelerate infrastructure development, debugging, and operations

Focus Areas Include

Service deployment and runtime reliability

Observability across user journeys (browse → cart → checkout → payments)

Infrastructure performance, scaling, and cost optimization

Secure infrastructure foundations across environments

Required Skills And Experience

3–5 years of experience in infrastructure, SRE, or backend/platform-heavy roles

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems

Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems

Experience implementing infrastructure-level security best practices

Comfortable debugging production issues across multiple layers (infra, backend, APIs)

Experience With AI-assisted Workflows, Including

Using AI tools to generate infra code, debug issues, and automate workflows

Validating and refining AI-generated outputs for correctness and reliability

Building repeatable systems using AI without compromising production safety

Design and improve deployment pipelines for faster and safer releases

Implement secure infrastructure foundations (IAM, secrets, network isolation)

Improve system reliability and reduce incident frequency across critical flows
