About the Roles

Join an Information Technology Consulting organization as a QA Automation Engineer based in Paya Lebar, working 5 days, Monday to Friday. This is a 1-year renewable contract offering a basic salary with completion bonus, ideal for someone keen to strengthen automation practices across UI, API, and performance testing in a collaborative engineering environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for front-end UI, API, and performance testing.

Enhance existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps Engineers to support faster engineering feedback.

Set up QA tools, define testing best practices, and establish automation standards for the team.

Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers to review requirements early and clarify acceptance criteria.

Assess test failures, distinguish between product defects and test issues, and work with engineers on timely resolution.

Explore suitable uses of GenAI tools to improve testing workflows, including test case generation, test data management, and test result analysis.

Document testing standards, frameworks, and QA processes to support knowledge sharing across the QA and engineering teams.

Support other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Infocomm Technology, or equivalent experience.

At least 4 years of QA or test engineering experience with strong test automation skills.

Experience in front-end UI, API, and performance test automation.

Java or JavaScript testing knowledge will be advantageous.

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, with an understanding of DevOps testing practices.

Ability to evaluate and apply suitable testing tools based on project requirements.

Experience or interest in establishing QA practices, standards, and tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to identify root causes and communicate findings clearly.

Familiarity with agile development and ability to work effectively in a fast-changing team environment.

Exposure to or interest in using GenAI tools for testing workflows.
