About the role
Monaghans Galway, main dealer for Škoda, SEAT, Volkswagen and CUPRA, is a well-established, family-run dealership located in Galway City. With a strong reputation for customer service and performance, we are proud to represent some of the world’s leading automotive brands.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales department.
The Role
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets across new and used vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Sell new and used vehicles in line with agreed monthly and annual targets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Present and demonstrate vehicles, clearly explaining features, performance, benefits, and finance options.
Effectively manage the full sales process from initial enquiry to vehicle handover.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, pricing, campaigns, and competitor offerings.
Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
Report to the Sales Manager on performance, objectives, and sales activities.
Contribute positively to the overall success and energy of the sales team.
The Ideal Candidate
1–2 years’ experience in a sales role (motor industry experience preferred).
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and closing skills.
Highly motivated, professional, and target-driven.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Full, clean driving licence.
