About the role

Role Overview

Research Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive contractor to drive strategic sales initiatives within large corporate and enterprise markets across Europe. This role manages the entire sales process, from sourcing new opportunities to closing complex deals. The ideal candidate will be multilingual, possessing a deep understanding of the European market and a proven track record in B2B SaaS sales, particularly within the life sciences, pharma, biotech and medical device industries.

Engagement Details

Engagement type: Independent contractor

Compensation: Base plus commission. Handsome accelerators for over performance

Location: Remote; candidate must be located within the Central European Time (CET) zone ±2 hours.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by acquiring new clients.

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients and opportunities.

Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Conduct discovery and demo calls, effectively qualifying and presenting our SaaS solutions to potential clients.

Utilize Solution Selling techniques to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.

Develop and deliver compelling client proposals and presentations that highlight the value of our solutions that address critical business issues for prospects.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts.

Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.

Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience,with at least 2 years in enterprise/corporate accounts; preferably selling into life science organizations (R&D, Product Development, Post Market Surveillance, Legal, and Corporate Strategy).

Confidence to sell to mid-level managers as well as VPs, SVPs, and C-level executives.

Proven ability to close complex deals with larger organizations, from procurement to close.

Fluent in English; fluency in German and/or French strongly preferred

Strong inner drive and a proven ability to achieve and exceed quotas and goals.

Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others.

Highly coachable with a growth mindset and comfort in testing new approaches.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use words intentionally to gain insightful responses.

Experienced with online tools for sales and collaboration (e.g., Outreach, Zoom, Salesforce, HubSpot, MS Teams, Zoominfo).

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and remote environment.
