Business Development Manager (BDM) – IT Services | Domestic & International Sales
About the role
Location: Hinjewadi, Pune, Maharashtra Job Type: Full-Time Open Positions: 3 Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month + Performance Incentives
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
Identify, generate, and qualify leads for IT services and software solutions
Manage end-to-end sales activities from lead generation to deal closure
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients
Understand client requirements and propose suitable IT solutions
Act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle
Proposal & Deal Management
Prepare and present business proposals, estimates, presentations, and commercial offers
Coordinate with pre-sales, Business Analysts, and technical teams to create winning solutions
Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization
Sales Operations
Track opportunities through CRM and sales management tools
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports
Ensure smooth project handover to delivery teams after deal closure
Networking & Market Expansion
Represent the company at industry events, networking meetings, conferences, and client visits
Explore opportunities in domestic and international markets including the US, UK, Europe, Middle East, and other regions
Required QualificationsEducation
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or IT Sales Executive
Experience in an IT Services, Software Development, SaaS, or Digital Solutions company preferred
Required Skills
Strong understanding of IT Services, Software Development, Web Development, Mobile Applications, Cloud Solutions, or Digital Transformation Services
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
Experience in B2B sales and client acquisition
Ability to manage complete sales lifecycle independently
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems
Strong revenue-focused and target-oriented mindset
Preferred Skills
Experience in international sales and global client handling
Existing network of business contacts and decision-makers
Exposure to software outsourcing and offshore development models
Experience working with clients from the US, UK, Europe, Middle East, or APAC regions
