About the role
Recruiting On behalf of Huawei. The Finance Specialist is responsible for end-to-end financial management of projects including estimation, budgeting, accounting, final accounting, and KPI monitoring. This role acts as a key financial interface between Huawei and its major customers, ensuring financial discipline, risk mitigation, and strong customer relationships through proactive communication and analysis.
Main Responsibilities
1. Project Financial Control & Customer Engagement
Responsible for project estimate, contract financial clause review, and KPI management for key accounts.
Conduct customer financial statements analysis to assess creditworthiness and identify potential risks.
Lead customer visits and communications related to financial issues, acting as the primary finance liaison between Huawei and its key accounts.
2. Budgeting, Accounting & Final Accounting Management
Manage project budget end-to-end: preparation, tracking, forecasting, and re-forecasting.
Oversee project accounting activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
Lead final accounting management, ensuring timely and accurate project closure upon completion.
Monitor, report, analyze, and manage project execution progress against established financial targets and KPIs.
3. Risk & Compliance
Review contract terms related to payments, credit, insurance, and tax obligations to identify potential exposure.
Identify financial risks (e.g., collection delays, credit exposure, currency fluctuations) and propose practical mitigation measures to management.
Ensure all financial activities comply with Huawei internal controls and local statutory requirements.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
Maintain strong client relationships from a financial perspective, ensuring transparency and trust.
Coordinate effectively with internal teams (Sales, Delivery, Legal, Project Management) to align financial and operational goals.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial documentation and analysis.
Job Requirements
Work Experience
Years of Experience
3–5+ years of proven experience in finance data processing
Industry Preference
Telecom, construction, large-scale infrastructure, or project-based environments
Specific Experience
Hands-on experience with: Estimation, Budgeting, Accounting, Final Accounting, Tax, Collections, Credit Assessment, Insurance
Preferred Experience
Customer-facing finance roles (e.g., customer finance, account finance, credit analyst)

Tool Proficiency
Microsoft Excel (advanced) – pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling, lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), data validation, charts

Ability to process, clean, and analyze large volumes of financial data accurately and efficiently
Contract Review
Strong understanding of financial clauses in commercial contracts (payment terms, penalties, credit terms, insurance requirements, tax obligations)

Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders (customers, sales teams, delivery teams) in clear, simple terms
