About the role
What success looks like in this role:
Gains familiarity with Talent Acquisition concepts, methods and philosophy.
Performs developmental assignments in and gains exposure to various aspects of Talent Acquisition, including general sourcing / recruiting / selection, campus / early career and contract management.
With guidance, supports recruiting and staffing efforts by:
o Engaging with hiring leaders to understand hiring needs and challenges,
o Assisting with sourcing / recruitment strategy development and implementation,
o Facilitating candidate contact, scheduling and follow-up,
o Entering, maintaining and updating data in the applicant tracking system,
o Preparing job offers for successful candidates, and
o Finalizing start dates with candidates.
Learns and adheres to company and applicable regulatory standards and policies.
Build positive working relationships with Human Resources (HR) colleagues and allied teams.
Participates in local and/or broader Talent Acquisition initiatives as required.
Co-ordinates with Universities, participates in Career Fairs and campus recruitment activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
