WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

The Senior Financial Data Analyst in the Data Management team at SimCorp, at the IC4 grade, is responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to support business decisions, ensure data accuracy, and provide actionable insights. With typically 4-6 years of experience in financial data analysis, this role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, financial analysts, and IT teams to ensure the accurate integration, validation, and reporting of financial data. The Senior Financial Data Analyst also plays a key role in developing financial models and improving data processes to optimize reporting efficiency and decision-making.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Analyze financial data to support business decisions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

Work closely with business stakeholders and financial teams to define data requirements and provide insights into financial performance

Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools to enhance data-driven decision-making

Ensure the accurate integration and validation of financial data across systems, working with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies

Perform data reconciliation, ensuring that financial data aligns with internal and external reporting standards

Prepare and present financial reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership and business teams

Monitor financial data processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and streamlining reporting processes

Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure seamless integration of financial data into the company’s broader data management systems

Stay up to date with financial regulations and industry trends, ensuring compliance with data governance standards and best practices

Mentor junior financial analysts, supporting their professional development and fostering a collaborative work environment

WHAT WE VALUE
