Production Manager
About the role
Production Planning & Operations
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives.
Monitor daily production activities to ensure targets are achieved.
Optimize production processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
Quality & Food Safety
Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, and local food regulations.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to maintain product quality standards.
Investigate and address quality deviations and customer complaints.
Team Management
Lead, supervise, and motivate production supervisors and operators.
Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
Maintain compliance with statutory and company policies.
Inventory & Resource Management
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
Monitor raw material consumption and minimize production losses.
Control production costs and improve operational efficiency.
Continuous Improvement
Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives.
Analyze production data and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
Drive productivity, yield improvement, and cost-reduction projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Dairy Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
5–10+ years of experience in food manufacturing operations.
Experience managing production teams in a food processing environment.
Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems
Pay: ₹18,308.26 - ₹69,327.60 per month
