About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support our ERP implementation and operational activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ERP data management, report validation, business process testing, error analysis, and ensuring data accuracy across various business functions including Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Operations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with business users, implementation teams, and developers to ensure smooth ERP operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesERP Data Management
Upload, maintain, and validate master and transactional data in the ERP system.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of data being entered into the system.
Coordinate with business teams for data collection, cleansing, and migration activities.
Perform bulk data imports and data verification activities.
Report Validation & Analysis
Validate ERP-generated reports against source data and business requirements.
Identify discrepancies, data mismatches, and reporting issues.
Perform root cause analysis for data-related problems.
Prepare reconciliation reports and exception reports.
Error Identification & Resolution
Analyze system-generated errors and validation failures.
Work with functional and technical teams to resolve data and process issues.
Track issues through closure and verify corrective actions.
Maintain issue logs and resolution documentation.
Business Logic Testing
Test ERP workflows, configurations, and business processes.
Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT).
Validate calculations, approval workflows, reports, and business rules.
Document defects and coordinate with development teams for fixes.
Data Analysis & Process Improvement
Analyze business data and identify trends, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
Support management with dashboards, MIS reports, and operational insights.
Recommend process improvements to enhance ERP efficiency and data quality.
Assist in preparing business requirement documents and process documentation.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, ERPNext, or similar).
Good knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query preferred).
Understanding of data validation and reconciliation processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to understand and test business processes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.
Experience in ERP implementation, support, or business analysis.
Knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, HR, or Manufacturing processes will be an advantage.
Exposure to SQL, Power BI, or reporting tools is preferred.

Verifying reports and dashboards.
Identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.
Testing newly developed ERP features and business logic.
Coordinating with users and developers for issue resolution.
Preparing analytical reports and business insights.
Success Metrics
Data accuracy maintained above 99%.
Timely completion of testing and validation activities.
Reduction in ERP data and process errors.
Successful completion of UAT cycles.
High-quality business and operational reporting.
