Position: Graphic Design Mentor
Overview We are looking for a skilled and creative Graphic Design Mentor to guide aspiring designers and students in developing professional design skills. The mentor will provide practical training, portfolio feedback, career guidance, and industry insights while helping learners build expertise in visual communication and design tools.
Key Responsibilities
Mentor individuals or groups in graphic design principles and best practices.
Teach concepts such as typography, color theory, branding, layout design, and visual storytelling.
Provide hands-on guidance in industry-standard design software.
Review design projects and offer constructive feedback for improvement.
Assist learners in building professional portfolios and real-world design projects.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one mentoring meetings.
Stay updated with current design trends, tools, and industry standards.
Support learners with career development, freelance opportunities, and interview preparation.
Requirements
Proven experience in graphic design (3+ years preferred).
Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Canva, or similar software.
Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Ability to explain design concepts clearly and provide actionable feedback.
Experience in teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring is preferred.
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and professional design work.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Professional certifications in graphic design or related software.
Experience working with branding, advertising, digital media, or UI/UX projects.
