Role Overview Reporting into the General Manager Sales, the National Account Manager is a key commercial role responsible for managing and growing strategically important retail partnerships across Woolworths and Aldi. This is a high-impact, customer-facing position within a fast-paced FMCG environment, where pricing, promotions, range, and supply decisions directly influence sales performance, margin delivery, and category growth across both Private Label and Branded portfolios.
The business is seeking a commercially driven and ambitious Account Manager ready to step into their first National Account Manager role. You will build strong relationships with buyers and category teams while partnering internally across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and NPD to drive strong commercial outcomes and execution across a highly perishable, short shelf-life product portfolio. Responsibilities
Manage key retail accounts including Woolworths and Aldi, driving sales growth, profitability, and strong customer outcomes.
Support the development and execution of JBPs while managing pricing, promotions, trade spend, and profitability across Private Label and Branded portfolios.
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and key retail stakeholders.
Partner with NPD, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to support product launches, forecasting accuracy, service levels, and category growth initiatives.
Work closely across Sales, Finance, Operations, and NPD to ensure aligned execution while providing reporting on sales performance, risks, and opportunities
Candidate Profile This business is seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Account Manager with FMCG experience and exposure to major retail customers, ideally Woolworths and/or Aldi. Experience within fresh, chilled, or short shelf-life categories will be highly regarded.
