Summary
Crayola is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Account Manager to join our team. This role will focus on driving sales growth and managing key national accounts. It blends strategic planning, relationship management, cross‑functional collaboration, and data‑driven decision‑making. This position is ideal for someone with FMCG/consumer goods experience who thrives in a creative, values‑driven environment.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Develop and implement sales plans to achieve Crayola’s financial goals and increase market share of Crayola product.
Manage and nurture key national accounts ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term sustainable partnerships.
Analyze account performance, customer satisfaction and key metrics to drive growth.
Provide regular reports and strategic insights to the business.
Develop and implement key account annual operating plans in line with Crayola’s strategic direction and goals.
Cross- Functional collaboration: Work closely with Operations, customer service, finance, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution of services and a consistent customer experience.
Manage and support Agents and wholesalers to achieve financial targets and ensure strong communication flow. Including spending time visiting customers with agents.
Prepare and participate in a monthly demand planning process.
Coordinate customer trading terms and ensure customers trade within these requirements.
Be the customer expert and have mutli- level relationships across customers, from stores to HQ.
Participate in Trade Expo’s as required
What we’re looking for:
a minimum of 2 years' experience as an account manager within Consumer Goods or FMCG, demonstrating a track record of achieving financial KPI’s.
Demonstrated experience managing key accounts
Experience in Education channel and within the New Zealand Market highly regarded
Collaborative: with the ability to influence at all levels internally & externally.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
A strategic mindset with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform decisions and drive improvements.
Exposure to global brands/ businesses (not essential)
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related subject. Or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong behaviors: Positive, passionate, and dedicated with a strong work ethic.
High potential: Ability and willingness to develop and build career.
