Financial Accountant (m/f/x)

As a Financial Accountant (m/f/x), you will monitor daily incoming and outgoing payments and manage ongoing accounting processes.

Your responsibilities

Performing day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset accounting, and account reconciliations

Preparing tax filings and reports (e.g., VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, etc.)

Managing payment transactions and cash flow/liquidity planning

Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Ensuring effective and efficient accounts receivable management, including dunning and collection procedures

Serving as a contact person for tax, social security, and customs-related matters

Handling additional administrative tasks as required

What you should bring

Successfully completed commercial/business training, ideally as a certified tax clerk/accounting specialist

Good knowledge of commercial and tax law; knowledge of payroll tax regulations is an advantage

Initial solid professional experience in financial accounting

Strong affinity for numbers combined with excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to work

Willingness to take on cross-functional responsibilities

Proficient in common MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel

Experience with ERP systems; ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central (BC)

Good written and spoken English skills
