About the role
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and proactive S3D Administrator to manage and support Smart 3D (S3D) environments for engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for software administration, project setup, user support, and coordination with design teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Smart 3D (S3D) environments and related applications.
Perform project setup, database management, and environment configuration.
Manage user access, permissions, and system support activities.
Support engineering and design teams in resolving S3D-related technical issues.
Ensure proper backup, maintenance, and integrity of project data.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for smooth execution of project activities.
Maintain project standards, catalogs, specifications, and templates within S3D.
Generate reports and support documentation as required.
Assist in software upgrades, troubleshooting, and implementation activities.
Key Requirements:
1–5 years of experience as an S3D Administrator.
Good knowledge of Smart 3D (S3D) administration and project setup.
Understanding of engineering design workflows and project coordination.
Experience in user support and troubleshooting activities.
Basic knowledge of SQL/database management will be an added advantage.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Strong team coordination and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, or Process Industry projects.
Familiarity with SmartPlant tools and related engineering software.
