About the role
Our client is seeking a dedicated, full-time Tax Accountant to manage end-of-financial-year reporting and corporate tax compliance. This is an immediate, localized vacancy.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and maintain accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards
Taxation Compliance: Prepare and lodge monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements
Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile daily bank statements, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions using Xero / MYOB
End-of-Month Processes: Complete month-end and year-end close processes, adjusting journal entries and processing ledger accruals
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications in Accounting
Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred
Strong English communication skills
Commitment to long-term employment in Australia
Visa Sponsorship available for Applicants based in Australia only
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
