Event Operations Supervisor // Mobile Coffee & Cocktail Van

ABOUT THE ROLE

Roaming Rhythm is a mobile coffee and cocktail van operating across Perth at weddings, corporate events, markets, festivals, sporting events and private functions. We're looking for an experienced hospitality operator to step into a Supervisor role and become a key part of how the business runs day-to-day.

This is a leadership position on the ground. You'll run events from setup to pack down, lead a small team, and be the main point of contact for clients on the day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead and supervise event staff on the day, delegating tasks and managing workflow

- Run both coffee and cocktail service confidently

- Communicate directly with clients before, during and after events

- Drive and tow the van (or learn how to) - transporting staff and equipment between storage and event sites

- Take full ownership of events when the owner is not on site

- Manage setup, bump-in, service quality and pack down

- Ensure all events meet our quality and presentation standards

- Bring ideas to improve service, operations and the overall guest experience

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 3 years hospitality experience

- Experience across both coffee service AND cocktail / bar service

- Proven leadership or supervisory experience managing a team

- Strong problem solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

- Excellent communication skills, both with clients and team members

- Comfortable working solo and taking full responsibility for an event

- Weekend availability is essential

- Valid driver's license and own transport required

- Current RSA is essential

- Experience driving / reversing a trailer is highly regarded (or willingness to learn)

HOURS

This is a purely casual, event-based role. Shifts are offered on an event-by-event basis with no guaranteed hours. As the business continues to grow, hours will increase. Most events are scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance, giving you plenty of notice to plan around your availability.
