A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Performance and Optimisation Engineer - Wireless reporting to Manager - Network Performance Fixed Wireless

A bit about your role

The Senior Performance and Optimisation Engineer - Wireless role focuses on driving the performance strategy of the fixed wireless network. It is responsible for ensuring network performance meets defined KPIs by developing and implementing optimisation strategies, analysing network data, and improving processes through automation and continuous improvement.

The role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver performance initiatives, enhance capacity planning capabilities, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making. Overall, it ensures the network operates within performance thresholds while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

A bit about you

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in telecommunications with strong expertise in wireless access and backhaul performance, capacity management, and optimisation, particularly in TD-LTE and 3GPP environments. They possess advanced analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex network datasets and provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.

The role requires experience in vendor management, process improvement, and driving strategic outcomes, along with strong technical proficiency in programming, network design, optimisation tools, and data analytics platforms. Additionally, the candidate demonstrates excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to perform effectively in complex, ambiguous environments while maintaining adherence to organisational policies and safety standards.
