Social Media Manager

The role

We're hiring a Social Media Manager who lives, eats, and breathes social. This is not a "schedule posts and call it a day" job. You'll be the person who shows up daily, gets into the comments, earns trust in communities, and makes our brands feel like real participants, not corporate accounts.

You'll run social for Maven Trading (our broader prop trading brand) and WenCrypto (our crypto-native prop trading brand). The two brands share some teams, but they have distinct audiences and voices, and you'll know how to switch gears fast.

What you'll do

Own day-to-day social presence across priority platforms.

Be in the community: reply in comments, jump into conversations, and build relationships with creators, traders, and niche accounts.

Spot relevant posts in real time, engage thoughtfully, and identify what's worth reposting, remixing, or responding to.

Protect and amplify brand voice.

Turn moments into momentum: react to trends without being cringe, and know when to ignore the noise.

Create lightweight, native content (short-form posts, threads, quote-posts, memes) that feels platform-first. (You'll also have a graphic designer and video content team at your fingertips.)

Build and maintain a content and engagement system (cadence, themes, community rituals, response guidelines, escalation paths).

Collaborate with marketing, design, customer support, and leadership to align social with launches, promos, and product updates.

Track what's working and why, then iterate (engagement quality, community growth, click-throughs, sentiment, share of voice).

What we're looking for

2+ years experience in social.

You're truly entrenched in digital. You don't "use social", you inhabit it.

You can adopt a brand voice quickly and keep it consistent across posts, comments, and DMs.

You have strong taste: you know what's good, what's tired, and what's trying too hard.

You can write clean, punchy copy that sounds human and confident.

You're comfortable in trading and crypto culture (or you learn fast).

You're proactive, fast, and organized, you can manage multiple brand feeds without dropping the ball.

You have good judgment and can handle sensitive moments (complaints, confusion, misinformation, trolls) without escalating the situation.

Bonus points

You've grown a brand account in crypto, trading, fintech, gaming, or other high-tempo internet-native categories.

You've moderated or participated in communities (Discord, Telegram, Reddit, X communities, etc.).

You're fluent in "creator dynamics", you know how to build relationships without sounding transactional.

You can pull basic performance insights and turn them into clear next steps.

Our accounts feel present, responsive, and culturally aligned.

Consistent growth in relevant followers (traders, creators, partners), not random reach.

Social becomes a reliable driver for product launches and promos.

WenCrypto and Maven Trading voices stay distinct, sharp, and on-brand.

Location and time zones

We work across US, Canada, and Europe markets. You should be comfortable engaging across time zones and showing up when the internet is actually happening.
