Compensation Range: $45 - 50 per hour

We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join our team and drive the end-to-end creation of innovative training solutions across our global business lines and corporate functions.

In this role, you won't just build slide decks, you will own the entire development lifecycle, applying adult learning theories (like ADDIE and SAM) to design everything from interactive e-learning and microlearning modules to videos and compliance training. Using tools like Articulate Storyline 360, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to build impactful, modern learning experiences that meet compliance standards and Section 508 accessibility guidelines. Must be able to be in office in Jersey City 5x a week.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement learning solutions using instructional design principles and adult learning theory to support Lines of Business (LOBs), Regions, and Corporate/Support Functions.

Create interactive and innovative instructional materials, including learning objectives, storyboards, assessments, and compliance training content in various modalities (e.g., videos, microlearning, interactive PDFs, e-learning).

Ensure all e-learning courses and training materials meet Section 508 accessibility standards and comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to design and deliver instructional materials.

Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand key objectives and requirements for the development of compliance training solutions.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Education, Human Resource Development, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Experience: 3-5 years of experience designing and developing instructional materials, corporate training, or compliance-based learning solutions.

Instructional Design Mastery: Proven expertise in applying adult learning theory and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).

Technical Skills (Authoring Tools): Advanced proficiency with eLearning authoring suites, specifically Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools.

LMS Experience: Hands-on experience publishing, managing, and tracking learning content within a Learning Management System (LMS).

Accessibility Standards: Strong working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines to ensure inclusive learning experiences.

Multimedia Production: Demonstrated ability to create diverse learning assets, including storyboards, microlearning modules, instructional videos, assessments, and interactive PDFs.

Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and consultative skills, with a track record of successfully liaising with internal stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
