About the role
We’re hiring: Marketing Manager - Amsterdam (on-site) 🌱
At Grovero, we build smart hydroponic microfarms that let chefs and conscious consumers grow fresh herbs, microgreens and edible flowers on-site, right in their kitchen.
Our product, MiniGro, is already used in restaurants, corporate kitchens and homes across Europe. We’re a small team based in Amsterdam, and we’re looking for our first dedicated marketing hire.
We’re looking for someone who can help us build the marketing function from the ground up: someone who can think ahead, set priorities, and turn those priorities into focused action.
This is a hands-on role. You should be comfortable executing yourself where needed, while also using freelancers, interns, or agencies well when that makes sense.
What you’ll work on
→ Reactivating warm leads and improving CRM and email flows
→ Running and improving paid social, especially Meta / Instagram
→ Improving website conversion and turning interest into qualified leads
→ Building stronger customer proof through testimonials, case studies, and kitchen content
→ Helping shape content and campaigns that support both growth and brand
→ Coordinating external support where needed
→ Tracking performance and helping us focus on what works
What we’re looking for
→ 5+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in a startup, scale-up, or small company
→ Someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution
→ Experience with paid social and performance-minded marketing
→ Comfortable with CRM and email marketing tools
→ Strong commercial instinct, with a good feel for content, messaging, and customer proof
→ Able to set priorities and work independently in a small team
→ Comfortable working closely with a founder and helping build structure
→ Must be able to commute to our Amsterdam office and work on-site regularly
→ Dutch and/or German is a strong plus

Salary
€45,000-€55,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
