The Group Product Manager, Home Financing (Senior Manager) is responsible for driving mortgage leads generation and optimization, and coordinating creation and deployment of acquisition campaign content. Researches, defines, aligns, develops, and implements sales and marketing strategies with P&L (profit and loss) accountability to enable the sales force to effectively sell new and existing products. Carries out market research, forecasting, and competitive analysis, monitors performance, and assesses problems to develop and implement acquisition strategies.
Strategy and Partnerships

Build business cases and secure partner alignment and prioritization with internal stakeholders.
Build and manage the appropriate measurement infrastructure to evaluate and support progress against the strategic plan.
Provide insight and competitive intelligence in the marketplace and ensure that BMO is always on the leading edge of innovation, market knowledge, and industry expertise.
Supports engagement with HF direct channel partners (Branch, Mortgage specialists, Contact Centre, Digital, etc.) to develop growth strategies and improve client experience.
Support channel partners in understanding their results and developing strategies to improve.
Conduct regular test and learn program to assess the relative effectiveness of channels and direct volumes and activities appropriately.
Networks with industry contacts to gather competitive insights and best practices.
Develops sales strategy, growth metrics, and plans to achieve sales objectives.
Product Management
Support HF direct channels acquisition and growth strategies and activities to achieve short and long term financial and strategic objectives.
In collaboration with other stakeholders, develop and execute direct channel specific strategies to increase HF client franchising.
Develop and execute strategies to improve HF client acquisition and on-boarding journey.
Support new product strategies as appropriate and continuously identify new opportunities for innovation and disruption, with a special focus on increasing digital HF acquisition activities.
Partner with internal key stakeholders such as Risk, Policy, Under Writing, Consumer Credit, Operations, Process & Treasury, and develop strategies to strengthen these partnerships.
Develop, in partnership with the Marketing & Digital teams, a rolling 12-months HF acquisition & growth calendar to drive growth and differentiate BMO in the market.
Partner with analytics to enhance acquisition modelling capabilities and drive deeper insights from data that enable growth opportunities.
Develop a deep understanding of BMO HF processes, systems, technology and infrastructure and work closely with partners to develop strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in Business or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong experience with consumer / commercial credit applicable to retail and business financing products.
Strong experience working with retail and business product fundamentals, including product design, functionality, and related policies and procedures
Strong knowledge of product delivery infrastructure systems and underlying product interdependencies.
In-depth retail and business banking environmental awareness / understanding.
In-depth risk management associated with new and existing product development and management.
Strong knowledge of process coordination and management.
Strong knowledge of banking product management and associated industry and regulatory requirements.

Salary :
$86,000.00 - $160,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
